well haircut is a bit different,
and then it's a bit of a wide angle lens,
but these pix aren't even edited exept for slight White Balance correction and crops.

or is it the obvious lack of pyjamas?

hmm, it's hard to say :) the left pic is somewhat unnatural. well, imho. you're waaay better in real life :)) but the pics on the right are very very very very very cute !! @-}---

though you are definitely missing pyjamas

oh yes, quite damn good! especially when watching from screen Eraserhead and Lynch documentary at the same time in the little dark red room :)
